What is the minimum data required to set up Convertr Connect? In order to set up Convertr Connect in your campaign, you will need to first set up your API Credentials. You can find the details on how to do this here. Once you have your credentials, you will be able to set your campaign up by either searching for the Campaign Name or Campaign ID for the campaigns you have been assigned, our support document here, can help you get started.
What is ‘Convertr Connect Soft Validation? Will I need to copy/match my customer’s campaign in Convertr? No, you no longer need to create jobs in your Campaign that mirror your Customer’s Campaign. The Convertr Connect Soft Validation check does this for you. When you upload a lead via Convertr, and Convertr Connect Soft Validation is enabled, every lead will be automatically checked against your Customer’s Campaign.
What if I spot an issue with my Customer’s Campaign that invalidates my leads incorrectly? With Convertr Connect Soft Validation, you will be able to spot any set-up issues before your lead is delivered. Share your leads error message with your Customer to help them troubleshoot. When your Customer has updated their Campaign, the next time you upload a lead, it will automatically be checked against the latest version of their Campaign.
Can we map "many-to-one" campaigns? If I have three different target campaigns, can I connect them all to one specific campaign in my platform? For Convertr Connect v2, which enables you to perform a soft validation check on leads before you deliver leads to your customer, you are only able to do this on a one-to-one campaign sync. If you have campaigns which require ‘value based-routing’ or delivery of leads to different campaigns based on criteria, you can do this using Convertr Connect Validation Lists or Convertr Connect Simple Conditional jobs. Alternatively, you can set up these with other integration jobs explained here.
Can we set up a "Test Mode"? Yes, you can enable ‘test mode’ on your Campaign, even when your campaign is using Convertr Connect. You can find out more about Test Mode here.
Do I still need to set up forms? Yes, you still need to configure your campaign in the same way for all Convertr campaigns, this includes creating forms.
Do I still need to set up pay out bands? Yes, you will still need to set up your pay out bands for Campaigns using Convertr Connect.
Data Quality & Validation
Can I use any other QA jobs with Convertr Connect? Yes, you can still leverage all of the other features of Convertr, including the Convertr Connect jobs. Simply add the QA job via your Processr tab. When using the Convertr Connect - Soft Validation, one of the benefits is that your lead is checked against the target campaigns QA jobs, meaning you may not need to add your own QA jobs too. You can follow the example of adding jobs given here.
Does Convertr Connect support real-time data transformation? (e.g., Changing "United Kingdom" to "UK" or "GB" to match the client's CRM requirements). Yes, Convertr Connect will support any value transforms that are applied in your customer’s campaign. If you wish to set up your own, you can do so by following the document here.
Can I still batch or schedule my lead delivery? Yes, Convertr Connect will still support the use of batch or scheduled delivery integrations. You can either disable the Convertr Connect v2 integration and add your preferred integration or if you wish to add a second integration, you can add this to your campaign.
Operational Workflow & Troubleshooting
How do I troubleshoot a "Mapping Error"?Does the system provide a log showing exactly which field caused the rejection? Every lead that is submitted via Convertr Connect will return a reason for any invalidation flag. This can be found in your leads table or by ‘viewing’ each lead. What does “Processing Async” status mean? The Convertr Connect Soft Validation check is completed asynchronously, this means that the check will wait for your customers platform to return a response without timing out. If you see leads with this status, it means we are waiting on a response for your customer’s platform. You can find a description of our other Processr Statuses here.
If my lead is in a “Caution” status, will this still be delivered? Yes, caution leads will be delivered as part of the Convertr Connect integration. You can find more details on our Lead Statues here.
Can I "Pause" the delivery of leads?If I notice a quality issue, can I stop the flow of leads to the client without killing the entire campaign? Yes, you can pause the delivery of leads by either disabling your integration job. This will still run the Soft Validation QA job but will hold the lead from being delivered.
Can Convertr Connect soft check be turned off after it's been enabled? Yes, you can disable any QA or Integration job within Convertr at any time. If your QA or Integration job is either removed or disabled, even though your credentials are still visible, Convertr Connect will not attempt to run on your campaign.
