Google Connected App Solutions Follow

Overview

This article provides a walk through of Convertr’s connected app solution for Google Ads.

This new ad format is an in-app experience where users can submit their contact details within the app rather than opening a new browser in their mobile device.  Research across other channels shows that users are more likely to convert within an app versus being sent to the advertiser’s website, leading to an increase in conversion rates through native forms. Currently, the Google Connected App Solution works with Search, Video, Discovery and Display campaigns.  Some benefits include:

  • Helping agencies meet global compliance requirements
  • Processing leads in real time, eliminating manual daily lead downloads
  • Standardising data to your requirements and automating the routine processes to the correct platform or program for follow-up.
  • Tracking campaign performance and ROI from the capture through to the offline cell

Prerequisites

  • A campaign must be set up in Convertr
  • The campaign must have a publisher and a form attached
  • Permission to see and click into leads within Google Ads
    • Contact your Google account manager to be white listed if you do not have proper permissions

Creating a Google Connected App Solution within Convertr
