New Feature

Convertr Connect

We are excited to announce significant upgrades to Convertr Connect, designed to slash your setup time and maximize lead acceptance rates. These updates focus on automating the "technical plumbing" of your integrations, allowing you to focus on strategy rather than configuration.

1. New Capability: Soft Validation (1-2-1 Delivery)

We’ve introduced Soft Validation, a predictive process that eliminates the "manual tax" of campaign setup. This feature is specifically designed for 1-to-1 delivery scenarios (mapping to a single customer campaign).

  • Predictive Lead Verification: Instantly verify leads against all receiver rules before submission. This allows you to resolve issues before they impact your delivery stats.

  • Failed Delivery Prevention: If a Soft Validation check is active and the lead does not meet the criteria, the lead will not be sent. This ensures you only submit leads with the highest probability of becoming a billable lead.

  • Exclusive Ecosystem Checks: Access "Blind Suppression" and "Duplication" checks—capabilities unique to the Convertr ecosystem that are unavailable through any other supplier.

  • Centralized Credential Imports: Replace repetitive "job cloning" with our new centralized credential system. This shift reduces campaign configuration time from hours to mere minutes.

2. Sync Tag Automation (1-to-Many Delivery)

For complex campaigns delivering to multiple customer destinations, we have streamlined the Convertr Connect integration jobs.

  • Automated Sync Tags: We have removed the manual step of placing and managing sync tags. The system now handles this technical requirement automatically behind the scenes, reducing the risk of human error during setup.

3. Efficiency & Continuity

  • Enhanced QA Messaging: We have introduced a new, formatted QA message for invalid leads. These clearer descriptions make it much easier to diagnose and understand specific invalidation reasons.

  • Current Campaign Support: Don't worry—all existing functionality will continue to work as expected. These updates are designed to enhance your current workflows, not disrupt them.

Please note: Soft Validation is currently optimized for 1-to-1 delivery mapping. For 1-to-many delivery, utilize our new Sync Tag Automation.

Improvements

HTTP Integration - Content-Type Header Support for JSON Requests

Previously, when the sent_as_json option was enabled, any configured Content-Type header was ignored and the value defaulted to application/json.

With this update, the configured Content-Type header is now respected when sent_as_json is set to "yes". This enables compatibility with APIs that require non-standard JSON content types, such as application/vnd.api+json.

Fixes

Lead Export Field Labels

We’ve fixed an issue in Lead Export where custom field labels could revert to the original field names when a new field was added to the export template.

Field labels that have already been configured will now remain unchanged when additional fields are added.

Improvements

We have improved how Asset QA email notifications are handled for larger recipient lists.

Previously, notifications were only received when the configured recipient list contained fewer than 50 email addresses. With this fix, notifications will now also be delivered correctly when the list contains 50 or more recipients.

Improvements

Salesforce Integration - External Client Apps Support

Following the recent Salesforce platform update, we're rolling out support for External Client Apps using the Client Credentials flow - just a Client ID and Client Secret, with no username, password, or security token required.

Existing configurations continue to work without any changes on your part, and HTTP Integration-based Salesforce connections are unaffected.

See our updated setup instructions for details, or reach out to your customer success manager for help.

Migrate to External Client Apps

We recommend migrating from Connected Apps to External Client Apps via your Salesforce admin dashboard. See Salesforce's Connected App to External Client App Migration guide for instructions.

Fixes

Report Builder Date Condition Value Retention

We’ve fixed an issue in the Report Builder where some times, the date values configured in report conditions were not being retained. In some cases, this could cause reports using date-based conditions to fail.

With this fix, date values configured in report conditions will now be preserved correctly, ensuring reports run as expected.

New Feature

Cvent Lead Ingestion

Convertr now connects directly to Cvent, automatically ingesting attendee data into campaigns the moment an event completes.

Previously, getting event leads into Convertr required a manual export from Cvent, followed by file handling and upload. That process introduced delays of hours or days, along with the usual risks of data loss and inconsistency. Cvent Lead Ingestion removes all of that — leads flow from Cvent into Convertr automatically, then through your existing enrichment, validation, and delivery configuration without any manual steps.

For full setup instructions, see Cvent Lead Ingestion documentation.

  • Instant Insights & Summaries: Generates clear, actionable insights without the need to manually build reports.
  • Guided Questioning: Helps users structure queries to get more accurate and relevant results.

New Feature

NeverBounce Email Verification

Convertr now supports dedicated NeverBounce email verification as a standalone email verification option. Connect your NeverBounce account to validate leads using your preferred provider, ensuring consistent results whether you're processing your own leads or your customers' data.

Live Email Validation remains the standard option — it uses BriteVerify with automatic fallback to NeverBounce when BriteVerify returns an unknown domain result.
