Overview
Convertr’s AI Assistant is your intelligent colleague inside the Convertr platform. It understands how Convertr works and helps you configure Processr jobs, access reporting insights, and get answers using natural language (plain English).
The AI Assistant provides a single interface powered by two specialized capabilities (with more coming soon):
- Processr Job Configuration – guides you through selecting, configuring, and validating Processr jobs.
- Reporting Assistant – provides instant reporting insights, including summaries, table previews, and downloadable CSV reports.
Additional capabilities will be introduced over time to expand the AI Assistant’s functionality.

Accessing the AI Assistant
You can access the Convertr AI Assistant from anywhere in the platform by clicking the AI Assistant button in the top-right corner of the screen. This ensures help and insights are always within reach, no matter what page you’re on.
When opened, the interface includes:

Discover Features – highlights available AI capabilities with sample prompts to get started quickly.

Recent Conversations – lets you continue previous discussions without starting over.

Conversation History – Allows you to view and continue previous conversations from a dedicated section, organized by day (Today, Yesterday, Last 7 Days, and Last 30 Days)

New Conversation – Returns you to the main AI Assistant screen to start a new conversation.

Chat Input Area – type questions in plain language to receive guidance, validation, or insights.
Using the AI Assistant
The AI Assistant will:
- Understand your intent and context
- Respond with clear guidance, validation, or insights
- Present relevant results, summaries, or action buttons based on the context
- Allow you to refine outcomes through conversational follow-up questions
From question to execution, the AI Assistant helps you move forward quickly—without navigation, guesswork, or deep platform knowledge.
Providing feedback
After each response, you can provide feedback using the Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down icons:
- Thumbs Up – the response was helpful; optionally add comments on what worked well.
- Thumbs Down – the response did not meet expectations; optionally add comments to help improve future responses.
Providing feedback is optional and can be dismissed at any time. Your input helps improve the AI Assistant over time.
