How are time zones displayed?
All visible timestamps and date selections in the platform are displayed and updated based off the configured enterprise timezone. For example, If the enterprise timezone is in GMT, all visual timestamps in the platform will be displayed using this timezone or when selecting dates for reports/campaigns. This means that local timezones set by default on your computer or manually set on your computer will not effect the timezone set in platform.
Why set a time zone for the platform?
A platform timezone allows a unified view of data across all instances, simplifying reporting and analysis, regardless of geographical location.
Viewing the time zone in Platform
By default, the platform runs using GMT. This will apply to all lead and campaign timestamps, as well as appear on any reports. The set time zone can be viewed in the top right of most platform pages underneath the search bar:
Many areas throughout the platform will also reference or use the set time zone:
- Platform statistic widgets
- Leads page
- Campaign Start and End Dates
- Campaign pausing
- Scheduled delivery
- Report builder
- Lead export
- Import and duplicate campaign
- Audit logs
