Understanding Lead Invalidation Summary Follow

Overview

Lead Invalidation Summary is available within the Campaign Leads page for each campaign.

It provides a consolidated view of QA jobs that have resulted in Caution or Invalid leads within the selected campaign.

The summary automatically:

  • Groups affected leads by the QA job that caused them.
  • Separates jobs into Fixable Jobs and Non-Fixable Jobs to help prioritise investigation.
  • Orders jobs by the number of impacted leads, helping you focus on the issues likely to have the biggest impact first.
  • Provides quick actions to investigate affected leads.

For each QA job, you can view:

  • Job Name
  • Job Label (if configured)
  • Job Group (if applicable)
  • Number of leads impacted
  • Failure reason
  • Actions to investigate affected leads

Benefits

Lead Invalidation Summary helps you:

  • Instantly identify the QA issues affecting the highest number of leads within a campaign.
  • Eliminate the need to inspect individual leads or export lead data to identify recurring QA failures.
  • Prioritise the issues most likely to improve campaign delivery.
  • Navigate directly to the relevant QA job configuration.
  • Investigate affected leads with a single click.
  • Resolve fixable issues sooner to improve lead delivery and maximise campaign revenue.

Accessing the Lead Invalidation Summary

To access the Lead Invalidation Summary:

  1. Open the required campaign.
  2. Navigate to the Leads tab.
  3. In the Leads Breakdown widget, click View Jobs.

The summary opens in a modal containing two tabs:

  • Fixable Jobs
  • Non-Fixable Jobs

When the Lead Invalidation Summary is Available

The View Jobs button is enabled only when the selected campaign contains one or more Caution or Invalid leads.

All leads are valid

If all leads in the campaign are Valid, there are no QA issues to investigate. The View Jobs button is disabled and the Leads Breakdown widget confirms that all leads on the campaign are valid.

No leads on the campaign

If a campaign does not contain any leads, there are no QA results to summarise. The Leads Breakdown widget displays a No data to display message and the View Jobs button remains disabled.

Understanding the Summary

Each row in the summary represents a QA job that has contributed to one or more Caution or Invalid leads.

Jobs are automatically ordered by the number of leads impacted, helping you prioritise investigation based on the issues affecting the greatest number of leads.

The summary displays the following information for each QA job:

FieldDescription
Job NameOpens the corresponding QA job configuration.
Job LabelDisplays the configured job label, if one has been set.
Job GroupDisplays the Job Group the QA job belongs to, where applicable.
Leads ImpactedDisplays the number of Caution or Invalid leads affected by the QA job.
Failure ReasonExplains why the QA job classified the affected leads as Caution or Invalid.

Investigating Invalid/Caution Leads

Each QA job includes actions to help you investigate the affected leads.

Filter Leads

Filters the Campaign Leads page to display only the leads impacted by the selected QA job.

This allows you to immediately investigate the affected leads without manually creating filters.

Copy Lead IDs

Copies the Lead IDs for all affected leads associated with the selected QA job to your clipboard.

This can be useful when sharing leads with colleagues or investigating them outside the Lead Invalidation Summary.

Understanding Fixable and Non-Fixable Jobs

Lead Invalidation Summary separates QA jobs into two categories to help you prioritise investigation.

Non-Fixable Jobs

Non-Fixable Jobs help you quickly identify QA issues that are unlikely to change the outcome of a lead, allowing you to prioritise your investigation on issues with a greater opportunity to recover leads.

For the initial release, the following categories of QA jobs are treated as Non-Fixable:

  • QA jobs configured as Hard Fail
  • Duplicate Verification jobs
  • Duplicate Email jobs
  • Telephone Verification jobs
  • Suppression jobs
  • Required Field jobs

All other categories of QA jobs are displayed under Fixable Jobs.

Fixable Jobs

Fixable Jobs highlight QA issues where there is a greater opportunity for a lead to become Valid after making changes to the lead data, validation lists or QA configuration.

This includes Email Verification jobs. Email Verification is intentionally categorised as Fixable because whether a verification result should prevent a lead from progressing depends on your business requirements. This allows you to decide whether changes to your QA configuration are appropriate before reprocessing affected leads, rather than Convertr making that decision for you.

If you want an Email Verification job, or any other QA job, to always be treated as Non-Fixable, you can configure the job as Hard Fail. It will then appear under the Non-Fixable Jobs tab.

How QA Changes Affect the Summary

The Lead Invalidation Summary reflects the QA results generated when leads are processed.

Changes made to QA jobs after leads have been processed are not automatically applied to existing results. The summary is updated only when leads are processed or reprocessed against the current QA configuration.

If a QA job is disabled before processing

If a QA job is disabled before leads are processed, it is excluded from QA processing and will not appear in the Lead Invalidation Summary.

If a QA job is disabled after processing

If a QA job is disabled after leads have already been processed, it will continue to appear in the Lead Invalidation Summary until the affected leads are reprocessed.

This is because the summary reflects the QA results generated when those leads were last processed.
