Campaign Requirements Summary FAQ Follow

Feature Overview

1.  What is Campaign Requirement Summaries?  Campaign Requirement Summaries uses Convertr Intelligence to generate a plain-English summary of your campaign's configuration. It reads your QA jobs, validation rules, value transforms, form setup and suppression logic, then presents a structured overview of required lead attributes, field-level validation requirements and derived field behaviour. You can access it directly from the campaign Overview or Processr tabs without needing to review individual configuration screens.

2.  What does 'Beta' mean for this feature?  The Beta label means Campaign Summaries is fully available to use but is actively being developed. The accuracy of summaries and the range of issues flagged will continue to improve. Feedback during Beta is particularly valuable — see the Troubleshooting section for how to share it.

3.  What information does the Campaign Requirements Summary include?  The summary is split into two parts. At the top, configuration risk alerts flag potential setup issues using colour-coded banners — red for critical issues likely to cause lead rejection, and amber for potential inconsistencies worth reviewing. Below that, the summary body covers a General Quality Checks section describing validation behaviour across all leads, per-field sections for each required field listing format rules and allowed values, and derived field sections explaining platform-calculated fields such as Email Domain, Source Domain and Job Title Pilot.

4.  Is Campaign Summaries available for all campaigns?  Campaign Summaries is available across standard Convertr campaigns. If the Summary link does not appear in your campaign header, contact your Convertr account manager or raise a request via the Help Centre.

Accessing and Using the Summary

1.  Where do I find the Campaign Requirements Summary?  Open the campaign you want to review. You will see a Summary link in the campaign header bar when viewing the Overview or Processr tabs. Click this to open the Campaign Requirements Summary panel, which displays as a modal overlay titled with the campaign ID and name.

2.  What happens when the summary first loads?  When you open the panel, Convertr Intelligence analyses your campaign configuration and displays a 'Generating summary...' spinner. This typically completes within a few seconds, after which the full summary is displayed with any risk alerts at the top followed by the structured summary body.

3.  What are the Refresh and Copy buttons for?  Refresh re-generates the summary based on the current saved state of your campaign. The button changes to 'Refreshing...' while the new summary is being generated. Use this after making any configuration changes to ensure what you see reflects your latest setup. Copy places the full summary text on your clipboard so you can paste it into emails, briefing documents or onboarding materials.

4.  How current is the summary?  The panel shows a 'Last refreshed' timestamp so you know exactly when the summary was generated. The summary does not update automatically when you change your campaign configuration — you need to click Refresh after saving changes. A refreshed summary may include new risk alerts or remove previously flagged issues depending on what has changed.

5.  Can I share the summary with suppliers?  Yes. Use the Copy button to copy the full summary and paste it into an email or briefing document. The plain-English format is designed to communicate campaign requirements clearly to external partners without requiring them to have access to Convertr. You can see this workflow in action in the Campaign Summaries Help Guide.

6.  What does it mean if the summary says no form is attached?  If no form is attached to the campaign, Convertr Intelligence cannot confirm the complete list of fields publishers can submit. In this case the summary is inferred from QA jobs and value transforms only and will be flagged as incomplete with both a red alert and an amber warning. Attaching a form will give the summary a more accurate and complete picture of your campaign requirements.

Configuration Risk Alerts

1.  What are configuration risk alerts?  Configuration risk alerts appear as colour-coded banners at the top of the Campaign Requirements Summary when Convertr Intelligence detects potential setup issues. Red alerts flag critical problems likely to cause lead rejection or delivery failure. Amber warnings flag potential inconsistencies that are worth reviewing but may not immediately break delivery. Each alert includes a plain-English description of what has been detected and why it is a concern.

2.  What kinds of issues trigger a red alert?  Red alerts are raised for critical configuration problems. Common examples include: no form attached to the campaign, meaning there is no confirmed submission structure; QA jobs referencing fields that cannot be confirmed as submittable; value transform field names that do not match what QA jobs expect, causing leads to fail; and conflicting hard-fail rules in the pilot flow that can make valid lead submissions impossible.

3.  What kinds of issues trigger an amber warning?  Amber warnings flag potential inconsistencies worth reviewing. Common examples include: no form configuration available, meaning the summary is inferred from jobs only; conflicting validation rules for the same field such as test_lead; optional fields referenced by hard-fail checks where it is unclear whether publishers are required to submit them; derived fields being validated despite incomplete source mappings; and duplicate suppression list jobs for the same field.

4.  Does a configuration risk mean my campaign will not deliver leads?  Not necessarily. Risk alerts are prompts to review your setup, not confirmation that delivery is broken. Red alerts represent more serious issues that are more likely to cause problems. Amber warnings flag inconsistencies that may or may not affect delivery depending on your specific setup. Review each alert in context and take action where appropriate.

5.  Will risk alerts change after I fix an issue and refresh?  Yes. Clicking Refresh re-analyses your current saved configuration. If you have resolved a flagged issue it should no longer appear. New alerts may also appear if further issues are detected in the updated configuration.

Understanding the Summary Body

1.  What does the General Quality Checks section cover?  This section describes validation behaviour that applies across all leads, not specific to a single field. It includes whether a form definition is attached and what that means for summary completeness, how test_lead is validated and what values are accepted, whether non-standard characters are checked across submitted fields, date window restrictions such as the asset download date needing to fall within the last 2 days, duplicate and repost detection logic, and whether any conditional pilot processes are active.

2.  What do the field sections marked as REQUIRED mean?  Each field the campaign requires gets its own section labelled with the field name and REQUIRED, for example Email (REQUIRED) or Country (REQUIRED). Each section lists the specific validation rules for that field including format requirements, allowed values, suppression list checks and any conflicting rules detected between QA jobs.

3.  What are derived fields and why do they appear in the summary?  Derived fields are values calculated automatically by Convertr from submitted data rather than submitted directly by publishers. They appear in the summary because they feed into validation logic or delivery integrations and can be a source of configuration issues. Examples include Email Domain generated from the submitted email address, Source Domain built from publisher name and email domain, Marketo Program ID derived from asset data, Job Title Pilot and Pilot Key which trigger conditional validation, and Phone Dedupe used for duplicate detection.

4.  What does Convertr Intelligence read to generate the summary?  Convertr Intelligence reads your campaign's saved configuration only. This includes QA jobs in your Processr tab across all job types, value transform settings, any attached forms. It does not read lead data.

Supplier and Team Use

1.  How can I use Campaign Summaries to brief suppliers?  Use the Copy button to copy the full summary and paste it into an email or supplier briefing document. This is particularly useful for communicating which fields are required and in what format, allowed values for list-validated fields, email validation rules including domain restrictions, and date window rules that affect when a lead can be uploaded. Convertr Intelligence translates the campaign's technical validation logic into plain English that suppliers can act on directly.

2.  Can suppliers access Campaign Summaries directly?  No. Campaign Summaries are only accessible to Convertr platform users managing campaigns. Use the Copy button to share summary content with suppliers directly.

3.  Can I use Campaign Summaries to onboard new team members?  Yes. The summary gives new team members a fast way to understand what a campaign requires without needing to interpret raw QA job configuration or validation rules. It is especially useful when handing campaigns over between teams or onboarding operational staff who are not yet familiar with the platform.

4.  Does using Campaign Summaries replace the need to configure my campaign correctly?  No. Campaign Summaries reads and describes your existing configuration — it does not set it up for you. You still need to configure your campaign correctly including forms, validation jobs, payout bands and delivery integrations. The summary helps you understand and communicate that configuration once it is in place.

Troubleshooting

1.  The summary does not reflect my latest changes. What should I do?  Make sure your changes have been saved, then click Refresh in the Campaign Requirements Summary panel. The summary does not auto-update when you edit campaign configuration — you must trigger a refresh manually. If the content still appears outdated after refreshing, contact Convertr support.

2.  The summary is showing a loading spinner but nothing appears. What should I do?  Summary generation typically completes within a few seconds. If the spinner persists, try closing and reopening the panel then clicking Refresh. If the issue continues, contact Convertr support with the campaign ID and a description of the problem.

3.  A risk alert appeared after I refreshed that was not there before. Is something wrong?  Not necessarily. A refresh generates a new analysis of your current configuration, which may surface issues that were not detected previously. This can happen if your configuration has changed, or if Convertr Intelligence has been updated to detect additional issue types. Review the new alert and take action if appropriate.

4.  The summary flags a risk but my campaign is delivering leads successfully. Is something wrong?  Not necessarily. Risk alerts flag potential issues, not confirmation that delivery is failing. It is possible for a flagged item to reflect a deliberate configuration choice that works correctly in practice. Review the alert description to understand what has been detected. If it does not apply to your setup, no action is required.

5.  I cannot find the Campaign Requirements Summary in my campaign. Who should I contact?  If the Summary link is not visible in your campaign header when viewing the Overview or Processr tabs, contact your Convertr account manager or raise a request via the Convertr Help Centre. Access may depend on your account configuration or plan.

6.  How do I report inaccurate summary content?  Contact your Convertr account manager or submit feedback via the Convertr Help Centre, including the campaign ID and a description of what the summary got wrong. Feedback during Beta helps improve Convertr Intelligence over time.
