Campaign Templates Follow

Overview

Campaign Templates are a key element when working within the Convertr Platform, they are defined as a specific campaign that is created that matches specific rules and filters required from a Campaign. They can be created for specific clients or specific campaign strategies such as single or double-touch campaigns. We recommend them as best practices for new and current clients.

Template Campaigns provide the following benefits:

  • Easy and efficient campaign creation
  • A centralized location to store default integrations and rule configurations
  • A reference point for all users when creating campaigns

Template Campaigns can be set as a 'Template', which helps to:

  • Reduce errors in any accidental Processr job removals by Locking jobs
  • Easily identify the template campaigns
  • Campaign ease of use by adding guidance notes within the platform
  • Limit users who can create and edit templates
  • Flag Processr jobs as critical for review

Set Campaign As A Template

Admin and Super Users can designate a campaign as a template and add instructional details in the Campaign Information section. Agency users can then create and edit campaigns based on these templates.

Admin or Super users can set a campaign as a template in Campaign > Admin > Setup > Owner tab by toggling ON the Set Campaign as Template toggle.

Once the campaign is set as a template by clicking the Save button, a new Template status will be shown for the campaign next to the campaign status in the top right corner.

View Template Campaigns

A new 'Type' column will display a 'Template' identifier for campaigns designated as Template Campaigns by an Admin or Super User. This feature enables users with campaign creation access to easily select the appropriate template campaign for duplication or importing, facilitating the creation of new campaigns.

Please note: If you have customized the Dashboard view using 'Custom Table Views', you will need to manually add the 'Type' column from the Table Columns dropdown, or use the Reset button to restore the Dashboard view to its default settings which will include the new 'Type' column.

Internal Campaign Information

Using internal campaign information, campaign admins with Admin and Super User access can provide guidance notes for users. To add, edit, or remove these notes, the campaign must be of the Template type.

Adding Internal Campaign Information

When an Admin or Super User navigates to Campaign > Admin > Setup > Owner tab and the 'Set Campaign As Template' toggle is OFF (indicating a normal campaign), the Internal Campaign Information will be disabled. Internal Campaign Information can only be added to template campaigns.

By switching ON the 'Set Campaign As Template' toggle, the Internal Campaign Information WYSIWYG editor is enabled, allowing you to add campaign guidance notes.

By clicking the Save button, the Internal Campaign Information is saved to the campaign. This information can then be viewed by clicking the View Information blue capsule added to the header, next to the Templates capsule.

When Campaign Information has already been added to a campaign, and the user changes the campaign from a template campaign to a normal campaign by toggling OFF the 'Set Campaign As Template', the Internal Campaign Information persists, but the WYSIWYG editor is disabled for further edits.

Viewing Internal Campaign Information

Once the Internal Campaign Information is added to a campaign, it can be viewed by clicking on the blue 'View Information' capsule. Upon clicking the capsule, a modal popup is displayed, showing the information added by the campaign admin in read-only mode.

When a campaign is created from an existing campaign with Internal Campaign Information, this information is also copied over to the new campaign. The Internal Campaign Information can be viewed in the Duplicate Campaign modal dialog as shown below:
