Overview
The Duplicate Email for Same Publisher check allows you to determine whether a lead is a duplicate for the publisher it was uploaded by, rather than the campaign as a whole. This job is commonly used to avoid publishers from importing the same leads within a campaign.
The below configuration will flag any leads as duplicates if there is a billable lead in the platform prior to their upload. Other publishers could upload a lead with the same email address, however.
Configuration
1. Within your campaign, navigate to the Processr tab and click Add.
2. Within the modal, start typing and select Duplicate Email for Same Publisher from the dropdown list:
3. Select one of the options in the dropdown list for the Duplicate Status:
The duplicate_status determines the status that the existing lead needs to have in order for subsequent leads to be flagged as duplicates:
- Billable - a lead will only flag as a duplicate if the previous lead is billable
- Valid - a lead will only flag as a duplicate if the previous lead is valid
- All - a lead will flag as a duplicate if a lead with the same email exists in the campaign, regardless of the lead status
4. Click Next and ensure your email field is mapped correctly.
5. Click Save.
