Duplicate Email Check Follow

Overview

The job runs to find out if the email address submitted is unique to the campaign.

 

Configuration

  • duplicate_status: This determines what the status of the existing lead needs to be if it is to duplicate. Having it set to Billable will ensure that only billable leads are protected from having duplicates come into the platform.

Use Case

The Duplicate Email Check is often used when trying to prevent duplicate leads coming in. Whilst other details might be unique, if the email is the same it often means the lead is not unique and has no value.
