Overview
Feature toggles provide you, with more granular control over user access to the platform functionality and data.
A sub-section called ‘Features’ can be found in the Users section for the following user roles: Super Users, Agency Users and Report Users. ‘Enable Access to Business Insights’ is also found in the Features sub-section and is displayed only for Agency Users and Report Users.
Note: This feature is only accessible from the Admin User Type |
Form Management
The configuration for 'Form Management' can be applied to both Super Users and Agency Users on a user-by-user basis. This checkbox configuration controls the user's ability to:
- Add a form
- Edit a form
- Global and Campaign level
- Add a form via CSV
- Archive a form
- Unarchive a form
- Modify a form and Save as new
- Delete a form
The below image shows that 'Add', 'Add via CSV' and 'Archive' buttons are not available to Agency User when the configuration for form management is unchecked for the user.
The below image shows that the 'Activate' and 'Delete' buttons are not available for archived forms when the configuration for form management is unchecked for the Agency user.
Delete Actions
There are four distinct delete feature toggles to control the deletion of:
- Leads
- Campaigns
- Publishers
- Advertisers - only available to Super Users (Agency Users cannot delete Advertisers)
As with the form management configuration, these feature toggles are available to Super Users and Agency Users on a user-by-user basis.
The 'Delete Leads' toggle when enabled allows the user to delete only leads and not campaigns or publishers. When disabled, it prevents the user from deleting leads.
The below image shows the option to ‘Delete Leads’ is missing in Flag/Manage:
Similarly, if the 'Delete Campaigns' toggle is disabled, the user is prevented from deleting campaigns.
The below image shows the ‘Delete’ button missing on the Campaign setup page:
The option to delete publishers will not be available to a user if they have the 'Delete Publishers' toggle disabled.
The below image shows the option to ‘Delete’ Publishers is unavailable to an Agency User:
For Super Users, there is a fourth toggle, 'Delete Advertisers', available to delete advertisers.
If this toggle is disabled, Super Users will not be able to delete advertisers.
The below image shows the option to ‘Delete’ Advertisers is unavailable to a Super User:
User Management
The next feature toggle is the ‘User Management’ checkbox that can be applied to both Super Users and Agency Users on a user-by-user basis.
The ‘User Management’ feature toggle controls the user's ability to perform user management activities such as Adding, editing and deleting users below them in the hierarchy.
- For Super Users, this toggle will control their ability to Add, Edit and Delete the following user roles: Agency, Advertiser, Advertiser Report User, Report User, Publisher and Call Centre Operative.
- For Agency Users, the toggle will control their ability to Add, Edit and Delete Publisher users.
The below image shows the absence of Add, Edit and Delete buttons on the user listing page for a Super User who has the ‘User Management’ checkbox disabled.
In the below image, the Add, Edit and Delete buttons are missing on the user listing page for an Agency User who has the ‘User Management’ checkbox disabled.
Processr Tab Permissions
The final feature toggle is called ‘Access to Processr’ and can be applied to both Super Users and Agency Users on a user-by-user basis.
This feature toggle controls the user's ability to access the Processr tab within campaigns.
The below image shows a Super User for whom the ‘Access to Processr’ toggle is disabled and so does not have access to the Processr tab in a campaign.
In the below image, the Processr tab is unavailable to an Agency User who has the ‘Access to Processr’ checkbox disabled.
