Overview
Data Deletion and Retention is the removal of personal data when it is no longer necessary for the purpose you obtained it for.
Please note: In many cases, legal requirements may state that privacy policies should also state retention periods. Using these automated deletion processes will help your business adhere to that specified time frame.
Setup
Convertr has two tools to help maintain this important practice systematically - both options will keep the record in the database but remove the lead data, meaning financial reporting will remain unaffected.
Automatically Erasing Data After Delivery
This method will remove all the received data from a lead immediately after it’s been processed. This is configured on a campaign level using the ‘Delete Lead Post Integration’ job.

Erasing Data After a Specific Timeframe
Admin users can access Enterprise > Configuration > Privacy Settings > Data Retention Period. , you can define how long to retain data for. All data outside of this period will be removed.
Whitelisting Data for Retentsion
Admin users can access Enterprise > Configuration > Data Retention to whitelist certain fields when lead data is due to be removed.
Expand the section of the desired job to select and deselect the fields you wish to whitelist. In this example, the Global Telephone Test has been selected:
