Keeping your campaigns consistent across multiple platforms can be tricky. It takes time to carefully copy-over all the campaign details from your internal platforms and tools into your Convertr account.
To help improve this process, we have created a Campaign Duplication API that allows you to automate creating campaigns from your internal platforms.
This API is a part of our Customer-Facing API that we are building.
What Campaign Duplication Is?
The campaign duplication (import) functionality allows you to copy existing campaigns while providing essential details for the campaign that you are creating: campaign name, start and end dates, per-action payout amounts, currency, etc.
It is the most effective way of creating new campaigns, as it helps you to avoid the labour-intensive setup process. Specifically, it allows you to skip configuring QA jobs and integrations, adding assets, assigning permissions and allocating publishers.
It can be accessed by the Advanced > Setup menu of the campaign page.

Automate Campaign Duplication via API
Using the Campaign Duplication API endpoint, you can automate the creation (duplication) process and ensure that essential details of the campaigns are consistent across your internal platforms and your Convertr account.
While calling the API endpoint, you will need to provide ID of the campaign that you would like to duplicate as well as a few required details for the new campaign such as campaign name, dates, currencies, etc.
As a result, you will get a stub campaign created that only requires a few final adjustments from your team.
